Harap Maaf...
I know some of my regular blog readers have been rather frustrated that I never update my blog. I do sincerely apologise! I'm actually updating my blog using a PC in the institute, so quickly... Here's lil' update of recent happenings.
Asia Week's finally over. Thank God. I think I've lost weight simply running around exhibitions and galleries. Though I must say - I've enjoyed having lots of champagne and delicious finger food, chatting and making connections with prominent people in my field. Also, I get to parade around in my sexy new suit. ^^
I've recently attended my first ever Sotheby's auction event. Sadly, many of the Chinese ceramics failed to impress the buyers; but the Chinese paintings of the Mifu collection fared much better. However, the cover piece - a Islamic themed moonflask of imaculate state from the Qing dynasty by the Emperor Qianlong, was sold for a whopping £2.8 million! I was there to witness the auctioning process. Weee!

[Ain't it a beeeauty? It's yours for a mere £2.8 million...]
Just had a funny conversation with my girlfriend Fion a few days ago, and something relatively amusing crop up. We were talking about the idea of "cyber phone sex" and how it works, and this funny conversation cropped up:Chungy: "Gosh, I'm so tired... My neck and shoulders feel like they're going to fall off!"
Fion: "Awww... Let me help you massage..."
Chungy: "Mmmm... It feels good... A lil' higher please..."
Fion: "Over here?"
Chungy: "Ahhh... Yeah... That's the spot..."
I think we've officially set a world record for the first cyber massage ever. We call it "cyber dup guat" in Cantonese. ^^
I've been quite bogged down with assignments recently, and it certainly does not help when I've been elected as course representative too! It better look damn good on my CV. -_-"
Last Saturday, I made a trip back to Oundle School - my previous boarding school in UK to try and obtain a 4th form space for my brother. However, due to my dismay, there wasn't ANY spare beds or rooms available anymore. How terribly sad... And my brother was hoping to continue the tradition too... =(
Anyways, enough for now. I've figured out a very interesting game to play! Next post, I'm going to post a photo of an antique I've been studying on. If anyone can appraise the correct market value of that object, I will send he/she a Christmas present! Get excited and stay tuned for my next post! ^^
