Chungy's Random American Teen Flick Soundtrack

Was reading Hui Lynn's blog and discovered a rather interesting thing I'm tempted to try out. Try creating your own random American-ish "teen-flick" soundtrack! ^^

Instructions:
1) Turn on your music player library.
2) Set to play music on "shuffle" mode.
3) Press "play".
4) Answer the question by typing the name of the song being played at the moment.
5) Press "next".
6) Repeat step 4-5 until all answers are answered.
7) Don't be shy or act all cool by hiding your Hilary Duff and Westlife music compilations. ^^

So, Here goes:

OPENING CREDITS:
=> Whee Sung - Goodbye Love (whoa, so fast goodbye love liao?)

WAKING UP:
=> Train - Drops of Jupiter

FIRST DAY OF COLLEGE:
=> Namie Amuro - Come (if only they used this sexy song to tempt every kid to college...)

FALLING IN LOVE:
=> Evanescence - Tourniquet (doesn't sound like a good start to a relationship ler, maybe she's Gothic...)

FIGHT SONG:
=> Jolin Tsai - Wei Shen Me Ni Lian Hua Dou Shuo Bu Qing Chu (OMG, slow soppy song for a fight scene? can it get any worse?)

BREAKING UP:
=> Jessica Simpson & Nick Lachey - Where You Are (oh yeah!)

PROM NIGHT:
=> James Morrison - You Give Me Something (sounds like some 80's prom...)

LIFE IS OK:
=> Jay Chou - Ban Dao Tie He (life is not ok if Jay Chou keeps singing "wei shen me zhe yang zi..." right? tsk tsk tsk...)

MENTAL BREAKDOWN:
=> Nine Days - Story of a Girl (girls, its always the reason for mental breakdown init? ^^)

DRIVING:
=> Tony Braxton - He Wasn't Man Enough (speaking of which: men, always the reason for driving fast eh? ^^)

FLASHBACK:
=> Sammi Cheng - Do Dak Ta (yeah, "do dak ta" a.k.a thanks to him/her for the flashbacks...)

GETTING BACK TOGETHER:
=> Fountains of Wayne - Stacy's Mom (OMG! we hugged, but he was actually starring over the lawn at her mother!)

WEDDING:
=> Soulboy - Wo Men Neng Bu Neng

BIRTH OF FIRST CHILD:
=> P.Diddy - Come With Me (Godzilla soundtrack? whoa, either the heavy rapping beat suggests the difficulties of childbirth, or he/she is one hell of an ugly child!)

FINAL BATTLE:
=> Hinder - Lips of An Angel (yes, the hero was staring at the enemy villian's sexy lips... no wonder he lost...)

DEATH SCENE:
=> Utada Hikaru - First Love (how ironic, dying but met his first love... awww...)

FUNERAL PROCESSION:
=> Mariah Carey & Boys II Men - One Sweet Day (perfect, I want this song for my funeral too...)

ENDING CREDITS:
=> Ne-Yo - Because of You

Heart Warming Gift

The end of week 3 semester 1 just doesn't mean I can get a good rest: just yesterday I received my first assignment, due in 2 weeks time. However, its Saturday tomorrow, means I can finally sleep a lil' later tonight; lie in for a lil' bit longer tomorrow.

So, updates updates...

Firstly, I'd like to thank my darling Fion for the most heart warming gift. I knows the appreciation is well over due time, but better late than never as they say. I arrived home in London to find her sound asleep on
my bed. Words simply can't explain my feelings when I put down my luggage, sat down by the bed and run my fingers gently over her long hair. She opened her eyes wearily and gave a sincere smile - a gesture that more than satisfied me. I ask myself, "how could I not have fallen in love with her?" ^///^

[Good things come in lil' delicate black bags... ^^]

[My first ever simple but sophisticated tie pin... ^^]

More updates...

I was at the train today, and this lil' 3 year old girl sat opposite me, starring at me. I was bored hence I gave a lil' sexy wink at her just for fun. For the rest of the 25 minutes journey to Waterloo, she started smiling in a very ham sup way at me. Funny enough, she was running her hands all over her body and kept "upskirting" at me! Her parents we're having a hard time telling her to stop. Well, what can I say? I've gone fatter than before, but Dr. Love has still got the X Factor... ^^"

Even more updates...

Academic books are expensive in London. Full stop. -_-"

[My lunch money... In their ugly materialistic form... -_-"]

A Valuable Lesson

Today, I've learnt a very terribly painful lesson. I've learnt:

1) NEVER say the wrong thing at the wrong time. Tiredness is not an excuse.

2) Insensativity is a poisonous lil' sin in disguise.

3) NEVER say sorry if you're not sure what you're apologising for, or risk having undesired opposite effects.

4) Loving and protecting is 2 totally different things.

5) I've truly comprehend and felt when Shakespeare says, "heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, nor hell a fury like a woman scorned." AMEN.

This momentary stumble nearly cost me the most precious thing in my life.

Back to the Land of Fish & Chips

Can't believe my summer ended so soon. 3 weeks is perhaps the shortest holiday I've ever had since I set foot in UK.

I do appologise for the lack of updates, been rather busy settling down to a whole new life in a whole new place. In case some of you are not informed - I've moved from Manchester to London to pursue my Masters degree.

What else can I say? Hopefully a whole new journey of interesting and eventful challenges await me. Who knows...
