Weird Japanese Lady
I've always known she was weird. Yes, I'm talking about that Japanese lady living in 3rd floor, flat 9. Rumours were that: This 25+ looking Japanese lady is a lil' crazy (according to what her flatmates told me when we were stuck downstairs during a false fire alarm), and she would carry her barbie doll to university and would talk to herself. You smell that? It's the smell of danger.
I met her, coincidentally in the life today, and we had the most bizarre conversation ever. Either she was hitting on me (in a manner which is rather desperate) or she is just overly friendly, in a scary kind of way:

Weird Japanese Lady: "You just came back from New Samsi?"
[Immediately, I regret telling her that I worked there... That's 2 years ago.]
Me: "No, I'm studying at home tonight."
Weird Japanese Lady: [Giggles...] "You should come cook for me, maybe this Sunday. We can have a lil' party."
[WTF? Do I even know you? I could be a serial killer and you've just invited me to your flat just like that?]
Me: [Forced a smile...] Erm, it's Chinese New Year this Sunday, I'm having dinner over at a friend's place actually.
Weird Japanese Lady: "Maybe some other time?"
[So there I was, burning brain cells in my head to find an excuse to get out of this twisted situation. Even better, if she was indeed hitting on me, I'd have to clear things out so she wouldn't bother me in future...]
Me: "Yeah, maybe some other time, but I left my blender at my girlfriend's place."
[There was awkward silence followed by the sound of "ding" which broke the silence, and the lift door opened into the 3rd floor where my salvation lies. She just quietly rushed out without a word.]

Blender at my girlfriend's place? Geeez... When did I learn to lie like that? ^^ Better double check my front door lock before I go to bed tonight.
