University of Manchester Malaysian Night 2006
It was a great night. 4 performances by yours truly, plus a lil' bit of acting as Ah Beng. In fact, its been 2 years in a row, I play Ah Beng.
This year's performance was more memorable than last years. Last year, nobody knew me. After the show... I just went straight back to the changing room and packed. Although I did go to dinner with those people, but I just felt really left out. This year, it was different.
I think during practices, I bonded with everybody very well. I began to notice genuine smiles. The Indian dancers - including moi, were so confident with ourselves we really impressed the crowd that night. After all the performances, it was hard to say farewell. This... Is another of those emotions, I never thought I could feel again.
Oh well, maybe I'm turning a bit soft these days. Perhaps I'm just getting weary from the fact that I know I'm going home soon. I guess its about time someone started chipping away the ice that froze around my heart.
PS: Will post pictures of my performances up soon, gotta deal with my exams and essays first.
